The general admission prices to Cedar Point are as follows: Funday: $39.95 (ages 3-61, 48 inches and taller); Junior: $9.95
(ages 3-61, under 48"); Senior: $9.95 (age 62 and older); Ride & Slide: $64.95; Junior & Senior Ride & Slide: $25.00; Starlight: $24.95
(after 5 p.m. daily; after 4 p.m. when the park closes at 8 p.m.); Bonus Weekends and HalloWeekends: $39.95
on Saturdays and Sundays and $24.95 on Friday nights. Children age 2 and under are free

• Open: The 2006 season opens Saturday, May 6 and will be open daily until Labor Day, Monday, September 4. The park will reopen for Bonus Weekends and HalloWeekends on Friday nights, Saturdays and Sundays, Sept. 8-10, 15-17, 22-24, 29, 30, Oct. 1, 6-8, 13-15, 20-22, and 27-29 in 2006.

Cedar Point is a 364-acre amusement park/resort that is home to the most exhilarating collection of thrill rides and roller coasters on Earth. New for 2006 at Cedar Point will be Skyhawk.  This ultimate new thrill ride will feature two giant swinging arms, each 84 feet in length, with 20 seats on each arm.  Each set of 20 seats will consist of two rows of 10 seats, positioned back to back, that will provide each rider with a “front row” view.  Riders are launched forward and backward, swinging higher and faster each time.  At the peak of the arc, riders on Skyhawk will be more than 125 feet in the air and will reach speeds of 60 mph in both directions!
