CHAGRIN VALLEY HUNTER JUMPER CLASSIC

General Admission Ticket prices are: Friday July 9 -Thursday, July 15 - free general admission Friday, July 16 through Saturday, July 17 - $5/adult, $3/senior and child 12 & under Sunday, July 18 - $10/adult, $5/senior and child 12 & under.

One of Northern Ohio’s summer highlights is the popular Hunter Jumper Classic, which is held at the Chagrin Valley’s picturesque Cleveland Metroparks Polo Field. More than 500 horses from 30 states and several foreign countries compete at the show. The non-profit event is synonymous with quality and representing its sponsors in the finest way possible.

The event is organized by the volunteers of the non-profit 501(c)(3) Chagrin Valley PHA Horse Show, Inc. and raises money for the Chagrin Valley PHA Endowment Fund and supports local charities  The Cleveland Grand Prix has historic significance in the equestrian world because the Cleveland Metroparks Polo Field is the site of our nation's first grand prix in 1965.In addition to three rings of exciting horse show jumping competition with top riders, the week-long show also features the following:

•                     Opening Weekend competition highlighting riders from Ohio and the region;

•                     Great shopping at the Boutiques & Treats area

•                     Youth Day seminars and hands-on activities for summer camps and youth organizations;

•                     World Champion Hunter Rider event

•                     International Hunter Derby Saturday evening

•                     Saturday’s Family Day

•                     Sunday’s Grand Prix show jumping in the Cleveland Grand Prix.

Special charity events will be held throughout the week. The Chagrin Valley PHA Endowment Fund will host 2 Benefit Cocktail Parties in the evening on Friday July 16 during the $10,000 Open Jumper Welcome Stake class and on Saturday July 17 during the $10,000 International Hunter Derby class. All proceeds go directly to the Endowment Fund which was established in 2005. 

Sunday July 18 features a casually elegant brunch and  an auction to benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Tickets are $100 for adults ($65 tax-deductible) and $50 for children ($25 tax-deductible). Tickets include the brunch, refreshments, live music, all day general admission ticket and ringside tent/seating for the Grand Prix.
