The Cy Young Days celebrates the exhilarating, enjoyable game of baseball and a man named Cy Young. Cy Young was baseball player who lived over 100 years ago. This festival honors him and his love for his game. Every year baseball players from different teams come to the Cy Young Days celebration as special guests to meet fans and sign autographs. The special guest will also be honored as the Grand Parade Marshall. Some of the proceeds from Cy Young Days will benefit the Cy Young Youth League, a baseball and softball league for hundreds of kids.
