Cedar Fair’s Kings Island Amusement Park is open to thrill and fun seekers of all ages. King’s Island is home to some of the Midwest’s biggest and best thrill rides and coasters. The park features 80 rides, shows, and attractions. The thrill rides include Diamondback, which reaches up to 80 mph, the legendary Beast, that is still the longest wooden roller coaster, and many, many more. The park just for children, Planet Snoopy, is an Amusement Today Golden Ticket award winning park from 2001 through 2010. It’s PEANUTS themed attractions and rides for any ages and gives park guests the chance to meet and greet with their favorite PEANUTS characters. New this year to King’s Island is the recently added Dinosaur Alive attraction, the largest animatronics dinosaur park in the world. It will feature more than 60 life-sized dinosaurs. There are restaurants, shops, two arcades, games and other attractions like live shows, which have several daily show times. Kings Island also has its own water park- Boomerang Bay open during the late spring and summer season.
