The Springfield Museum of Art has seven galleries. Its permanent collection includes paintings, drawings and sculptures featuring 19^th and 20^th century American, European and Ohio artists. The museum also has about 12 changing exhibits annually. These exhibits address contemporary and historical issues and encourage critical understanding of the visual arts.
