The Stark County Park District features 11 parks, four lakes, and nearly 60 miles of recreational trails, including 25 miles of the
historic Ohio & Erie National Heritage Canalway for hikers, bicycle riders, equestrians and nature lovers of all ages. The park district runs two marinas that feature motor boats, row boats, canoes, kayaks for rent by the hour. Pontoon boat rides for up to 9 passengers are offered with two-week's advance reservations. Picnic facilities available, as are nature education programs and naturalist-guided hikes.
