Adams County Heritage Days in Peebles, Ohio at the John T. Wilson Homestead:  Old time pioneer weapons and the era of the early frontier are featured at Heritage Days. The event usually includes a large pumpkin contest, hog roast, early style timber framing, blacksmithing, horseshoeing, candle and soap making. On Saturday’s past, there’s been a Wilson Home renovation presentation and tours, old time string and dulcimer music, goat farming, living history by Grassy Run, musket and cannon shooting demonstrations, quilting and weaving demonstrations, and an Indian artifact display. Period clothing is encouraged to help recreate the frontier days.
