Bucyrus Bratwurst Festival in Bucyrus, Ohio: This festival packs in three days of family-fun and more than 27 tons of the finest sausage cooking over open pits. The festival celebrates this small Ohio town’s German heritage with more than just bratwurst. There are daily parades, contests, auctions, and the FOOD – local family recipes that have been handed down from generation to generation dating back to “the old country.” And, thanks to our sponsors, there is plenty of FREE live entertainment.
Don’t miss the Best “Wurst” Bicycle Ride on Saturday. This flat to rolling tour of 12, 32, 65, and 100 miles is in association with the annual Bratwurst Festival. Included with the registration fee is the full-service tour, pancake breakfast at registration, and more. Several awards go to riders. The tour passes historical sites, a nature center, a parkland and beautiful countryside! Homemade ice cream and showers are available at the finish.
