The Chillicothe Halloween Festival showcases the fun of the Fall and Halloween season. The festival takes place annually on the second weekend of October and offers patrons the opportunity to enjoy a haunted attraction, inflatables for kids, unique items from vendors, and enjoy their favorite festival foods. Entertainment continues throughout the weekend with live bands on the stage. The festival’s signature contest is the soapbox derby-style “Coffin Races” where participants race their homemade coffins to win cash prizes. The entire festival is centered around enjoying the season in a family-friendly atmosphere and every year features new activities for families.
