Cleveland Metroparks Zoo is no ordinary zoo. It houses the largest collection of primate species in North America. In addition, there are thousands of other animals to see, hear, and smell throughout nearly 170 acres of discovery. The zoo also features an Australian Adventure and an enormous two-acre indoor tropical rainforest. The Australian Adventure is designed for children and has many unique sites, sounds, and activities for its little explorers. The rainforest captures the mood just right, with a towering waterfall entrance leading to a room that rains every 15 minutes. It comes complete with wildlife, including animals and plants.
