Early America Live, An 1890 Reenactment Festival in Jefferson, Ohio: 1890 becomes “alive” as you enter the gates into the historic 19th century village. Costumed kinfolk recreate the “period” as you peek into the past in each restored building and on the grounds. Attend school in the 1838 One-Room Schoolhouse, early recess games, make & take crafts. Candle-making, basketry, dying & spinning wool, pottery. Herb garden tours, tussie-mussies, pump-organ concert, Pastor on horseback Saturday at 11 a.m., Fashion Show. 1816 Jonathan Warner Tavern dedication Sunday, 1:30 p.m., Dixieland Band at 2:00 p.m. in the 1864 Lenox Bandwagon. 1890 Food Menu. Fun for All! 1890 Guided Tours available June to October, Saturday & Sunday 1-4 p.m., Monday & Thursday 10-4p.m. Group tours any time by appointment.
