Early America Live, An 1890 Re-enactment Festival at Jefferson Depot Village: 1890 becomes “alive” as you enter the gates into the historic 19th-century village. Costumed kinfolk recreate the “period” as you peek into the past in each restored building and on the grounds. Attend school in the 1838 One-Room Schoolhouse, early recess games, make & take crafts. Candle-making, basketry, dying & spinning wool, and pottery. Herb garden tours, tussie-mussies, pump-organ concert, Pastor on horseback, and fashion show.
