The Lorena Sternwheeler is a beloved riverfront landmark in Zanesville, Ohio, evoking the romance and history of America’s golden age of river travel. Permanently docked along the Muskingum River near downtown, the Lorena is a faithful recreation of a 19th-century sternwheel paddleboat that once carried passengers and cargo along the Ohio River system. With its classic white exterior, towering smokestacks, and iconic paddlewheel, the Lorena instantly transports visitors back to a time when riverboats were the lifeblood of frontier towns. It is available for public rides, lunch cruises, dinner cruises, twilight cruises, and private charters. The season runs from June through October.
