The Christmas season kicks off with the annual Christmas Tree Festival at the Ernest Warther Museum and Gardens, November 15- 23. The festival features beautifully decorated trees and home decorations are all for sale and delivered to your home when the festival closes. The Christkindlmarket on 4th Street in Dennison is an outdoor market certain to jump-start your holiday shopping with locally handcrafted goods, unique items, delicious food, warm beverages, photo booths, entertainment, and fun! Presented by the Twin City Farmers Market, this Christkindlmarket will leave you in high spirits. Do not miss the Mistletoe Market at the Streetside Center by the Dennison Railroad Depot Museum, taking place at the same time. You will want to spend some time in the Dennison Ice Skating Rink, too! There is nothing more magical than experiencing Christmas through the eyes of a child. Plan to share the Polar Express train ride with the littles in your life, which takes place December 4 through 7 and 11 through 14 at the Dennison Railroad Depot Museum. Tuscarawas County offers live performance fans many opportunities to enjoy the season’s best shows! See A Christmas Carol at the Ohio Star Theater or the Reeves Museum.
