Established in the 1950s as Charburger, it was a hot spot on Dayton’s Dixie Strip. Back in the days of “cruising,” cars would pull off to grab a bite at the car hop service. Over the years, it has changed names and ownership before becoming George’s Family Restaurant in 1994. Today, it is committed to its origins as a cherished All-American diner.
