Landoll’s Mohican Castle in Loudonville is a picturesque overnight stay amid the rolling wooded hills of Mohican Country, one of Ohio’s favorite getaways. The guest suites have a range of options, including a stone fireplace, spiral staircase, and windows raining down natural light from cut nooks and crannies in the ceiling. There are no elevators or internal hallways. All 11 suites are accessed outside, either on ground level or via stairs. There are also cottages on the property. From April to October, there are daily castle tours. Seasonal events, both public and private, are held at the Castle, in addition to weddings. Enjoy 30 acres of nature surrounding this unique structure. And dine at the Copper Mug Bar & Grille Restaurant, which is also on the property, a short walk from the Castle.
