Lithopolis Honeyfest is a honey festival in Lithopolis Ohio: Celebrate National Honey Month at Ohio’s only honey festival. Experience the science and art of apiculture (beekeeping) in a robust atmosphere of art, music, food, fun, and people. With the involvement of honeybee associations, this event is seen as a component in preserving apiculture. Learn about beekeeping and honey. Don’t miss the bee beard and honey extracting, observation hives, and the opportunity to sample different types of honey. Come hungry for delicious honey-made food and treat yourself to tasting in the Meade and Wine Garden. Browse the works of fine quality artisans and crafters while listening to the sounds of R&B, Jazz, Funk, Swing, Folk, and Gospel music. Create kids’ crafts in the Busy Beehive, buy an entry to the Honey Cook-off Sale and meet the American Honey Princess. There’s also free parking and shuttle service.
