Ohio is certainly blessed with many nature centers. This is a perfect afternoon diversion for nature-lovers, children, or those that simply need a quiet escape. Although some nature centers charge admission, most do not. It is recommended that you contact your local parks division or visitors bureau to find what’s available nearby or simply check the entertainment section of your local newspaper. Although many nature centers appear to be similar, they each have their own distinctive touch. Also, many unique activities occur weekly at these little community jewels – and some are free.
