The Ohio Pawpaw Festival at Lake Snowden in Albany, Ohio is a three day festival of music, food, art, history, education, contests and sustainable living workshops. There’s also plenty of kids’ activities. This fest is to celebrate the Pawpaw, which is a large native tree fruit (Asimina triloba).  The fun features contests for the best pawpaw, best pawpaw-related work of art, a pawpaw cook-off, and then of course the pawpaw-eating contest.
