Oktober Zincinnati is Cincinnati Oktoberfest: Since its humble beginning as a block part in 1976 celebrating Cincinnati’s deep German heritage, the event has grown to be recognized as North America’s largest Oktoberfest attracting half a million people annually and is second only to the original in Munich as annually decreed by the mayor of Munich. Approximately 80 booths serve authentic German food, beer, wine, soft drinks and souvenirs. Vendors serve up tasty delicacies from the homeland at appetizing prices. Major stages and large tents feature live entertainment from big bands to accordion players to German folk dancers performing throughout the weekend. For the kids, there are amusement rides and interactive games.
