Steubenville Hometown Celebration:  The streets of Downtown Steubenville take on a party atmosphere for the annual Hometown Celebration, an event for the whole family. The day includes a street fair, a Classic Car Cruise In, the Dean Martin Festival at the Spot Bar, entertainment at the Grand Theater, a safety rodeo, Trolley Rides down Historic North Fourth Street, tours of the beautiful historic churches and open house at the Mansion Museum and Means House. At Fort Steuben Park there are rides and games, Ohio Valley Talent Show, balloons, mini-train rides, and lots of fun foods. Reenactors will demonstrate 18th century weaponry in Historic Fort Steuben (admission: $5/$3) while film clips from Dean Martin movies will be shown in the Visitor Center. Local restaurants and shops will offer Hometown Celebration specials. That evening there will be a Rat Pack Show at the Spot Bar ($15), a dance and Dean Martin Movie Night at Froehlich’s Classic Corner (cover charge) and an Oldies Concert by the Avalons at the Berkman Amphitheater ($10/$5).
