Bucyrus Bratwurst Festival: Some call it the best of the wurst but one thing is for sure – it’s a standout in Ohio festivals. This fest packs in more than 27 tons of the finest sausage cooking over open pits. In addition to bratwurst, there are more than 100 more delicious foods made from local family recipes dating back to “the old country,” that celebrate the German heritage of this Ohio small town. Don’t miss the Best “Wurst” Bicycle Ride tour of 12, 32, 65 and 100 miles held on Saturday of the festival weekend, which is held every August in Bucyrus, Ohio.
