What a delight to order up the Bethann Niederman Burger with Bethann Niederman sitting across from me at Ford’s Garage Restaurant at Liberty Center in Liberty Township, Ohio (between Cincinnati and Dayton).
The Bethann Niederman Burger is a Mushroom Swiss. So, it has Swiss cheese, sautéed mushrooms, lettuce, and tomato on a pretzel bun.
Bethann and the Niederman family have been running Niederman Family Farm, one of Ohio’s most beloved fun farms, for decades. They offer educational group tours of the working farm and animals in spring, rent out party barns and bonfire pits, and put on one of the most festive and robust fall farm destinations anywhere around. Oh, and they run one of the highest-rated paintball sites in Ohio.
Ford’s Garage is a new take on “service station.” Designed to be a classic roadside burger joint, it features vintage Ford automobiles and memorabilia throughout. There is remarkable detail to every nook and cranny of the place. An example is beer poured from a gas pump handle.
