The National Museum of the U.S. Air Force,
at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base near Dayton, Ohio.

It’s over 100 years old and open daily, offering free admission and free parking.  Spanning 20 acres inside massive hangars, hundreds of aerospace vehicles are displayed, including a former Air Force One.  Bombs, missiles, and thousands of artifacts, such as cool flight jackets, are also presented.  Programs and special events span the calendar.  Its massive gift shop is perfect for purchasing a wide variety of aviation-themed gifts for your favorite flyboys and girls of any age.
