Welcome to The Ernest Warther Museum and Gardens in Dover, Ohio.

It showcases the life’s work of Master Carver Ernest “Mooney” Warther. The collection is appraised as priceless by the Smithsonian Institution.

The trains are carved to exact scale, some with 7,500 parts,
on a simple bench in Mooney’s modest workshop.
Many trains have electric motors that turn the moving parts.

Walk the Swiss gardens and into the Button House
for another sight to behold,
Moonie’s wife Freida’s fascinating collection of buttons.

The grounds are also home to the making of exclusive Warther Cutlery.
